I'm thrilled that she found late life love. Her dedication to young James continued: the 'elderly Miss Winifred Munt' was to be one of the Australian contingent at UK 25th anniversary of Great Escape in March 1969. I hope she made it. A r...Winifred Munt was my 'Auntie Winnie'! A relation on my mother's mother's side of the family, my grandmother's cousin. She lived with and cared for her mother for many years, as young women often did, but at nearly seventy years old, finally married her childhood sweetheart after he was widowed - very soon after!! I went to that wedding and remember feeling so so happy for her. I am even happier now, realising her dedication to Jimmy and how sad she must have been for so much of her life.<br />i knew she had been Jimmy Catanach's nanny and had later worked for Catanachs.
